The last few days the fear factor in America is on the rise, thanks to North Korea. I think that North Korea is a danger to the United States as well as many countries around the world. I am not as concerned about Iran as I have been over the last few years, it is North Korea that bothers me the most. I have little or no faith in our leadership and I am very afraid that this conflict might become a nuclear problem very soon. We have stocked our basement and bought a generator but I fear that will not be enough. We will know in the coming weeks if not days.
Today at Bonnaroo Jimmy Buffett showed up as a surprise guest. It was a shock when word got out on Thursday that the Beach God was going to make a guest appearance at the show on Saturday. Jimmy Buffett is one act that I have always wanted to see and have never had the chance. Every time he plays a venue close I have to work or have other commitments so I do not get to go see the show. I hope to remedy that soon, next time he is close I am going with no excuses allowed.
Again this week our back up quarterback has let his mouth overload his ass. Vince Young stated to A Baltimore TV station that the Titans needed to let him play or let him go elsewhere. As an average Tennessee Titans fan let me tell Vince Young do not let the door hit you on the ass on your way out the door, you have been nothing but an embarrassment to this team and I wish you well in your future endeavors. Patrick Ramsey will be a perfect back up for this team and hell he might just beat you out anyway. The team and its fans are better off without you anyway.
The Detroit Red Wings have made the Stanley Cup Finals again, they play the same team that they defeated last year the Pittsburgh Penguins. I do not have a dog in this fight as they say, but I am against two teams no matter who they play The San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings. So as of now I am a temporary Penguins fan, I hope Sid the Kid lights them up this year and the Penguins win in four straight games. Go Pens!
We got busy today and got the back of our cargo van cleaned out. We will be loading it up very soon to go camping and I think it was way past due on a good cleaning out. Like a lot of things in this life the one thing you use the least gets the least attention. I can not wait for some time off to go camping and spend some much needed time with the wife and family. Work has taken up way to much of my time and it is getting close to time to relax.
